Teacher's Day of '09.
One word - AWESOME. Today was really great.First I woke up at about 7.15am, then had breakfast, bathed, usual, then went to school. QL said before 8.30am at first, but she was the last to arrive (the irony), then we prepared the gifts with Avril talking shit beside us. But it was quite interesting preparing all the stuff and see QL and Marcus ruin the bag that they were supoosed to give to their Chinese teacher.After that we went to the parade square to gather and we were really noisy but the teachers didn't scold us, okay only one was there, but you get the point. At least they didn't say the lame thing the primary school teachers say - "I don't want to scold you today because it's a special occasion.." That's real chiche-d and lame.
At the hall, it was quite a tight squeeze. But the celebrations were actually far better than I expected coming over from the primary school which can't actually get your attention for more than 5 seconds without you having to stifle a yawn. Some of the usual stuff to do, including the teachers walking down the hallway which actually was quite funny. Then there were some other competitions and whatnot and so, yeah. Very much better than the concerts over the other side. The best performance was definitely the 2 Sec 4 guys performing this acoustic song. They actually put in effort to harmonize and everything, so I thought they were really good. No comment on the others, mainly because I don't have a lot of nice things to say.
So, when it was over, we went to pass the presents to the teachers outside the staffroom and WHAT A SQUEEZE! I did manage to say a "You suck" to Maye though. I even rushed out Mo Lao Shi's card because I didn't have time. After that, we went to meet Luisa, Prisca, Piao Lin and Grace (Guan), then went to Fusionpolice with some other people who tagged along. Had quite some fun there and I ate a lot. And Prisca, as usual didn't finish her food. So, yeah we dumped a lot of things on her plate of food and Piao Lin was the worst. Put so much stuff. Surprised QL could still drink her drink.
After that, we went to the primary school where we saw quite a lot of people and talked to each other. And I haven't seen Jeni for so long and I'm so much sicker than her. And she's the person who corrupted me! Tsk tsk. Anyway, we went to visit teachers in the Staff Room. Zhu Lao Shi is just as awesome as ever. And then we went to the canteen where we talked to teachers like Ms Lam. Another awesome person. After that we went to play catching. Great, great memories. Except we're getting a bit old.
