Benedict.
I'm living through a crazy life. Life can be stressful hell, but I still live. Music is my therapy sometimes to get away from it all, and have been writing music since I was 10. Wants
for life to get better.

Malaysia.
I'm back. Haha. Wasn't as bad as I had expected. Much better than rotting in front of the computer all week. =]Sunday. 22.11.09. Woke up at 4.35 in the morning and headed straight for Terminal 1 of Changi Airport and arrived at 5.22 a.m. Took a seat at the place just inside to wait for the rest to arrive (my cousins and aunt). They eventually came and we had breakfast at this pathetically small cafe. Had toast for breakfast then we went in. The flight was actually pretty short. But a bit longer than I expected. Anyway, landed soon (about 30 mins) and had lunch at a Chinese Restaurant. I had Wonton Mee ehich was prety good and it got real crowded at about noon. After walking around at the shopping centre called "Sunway Pyramid", I went to Popular to get a magazine and had ice cream at Haagen Dazs. For dinner, we went to a Chinese Restaurant at Canton Bay where we had Roasted Duck among others. The Roasted Duck is amazing. Much better than in Singapore. The skin is real crispy. Real good. And it was on offer too. Spend above RM88 and the Roast Duck is RM4.50. Cheap, huh. Monday. 23.11.09. Went to the water theme park today. The place was pretty cool, and very big. Quite lah. There were a lot of slides that were really cool. Original plan included the dry theme park but I guess we just didn't wanna leave the water theme park, so we stayed until it closed. 6pm if I'm not wrong. We went back to the hotel to take a shower and then we left for dinner at the Sunway Pyramid shopping centre where we went back to the same restaurant and has roast duck again. We also had other dishes lah. But you know. It's the 'main highlight'. Hah. Tuesday. 24.11.09. So, on Tuesday, we packed our bags and headed for KL (towards the city area). We checked into our 5-star hotel JW Marriot (sp?). It was amazing. Real clean, and it has that 'international standard' kinda feel to it. LOL. Right across the street is a shopping centre called "Pavillion". It's huge, clean, lots of boutiques, and a pretty awesome place, I must say. So we walked around, went to the Food Court for lunch. It's actually FoodRepublic which makes it a little bit closer to home. Even though we weren't that far away, I might add. Anyway, my cousin developed sore eyes, so we headed to the Phamarcy to get the solution for him. For dinner, we ate at a restaurant (introduced by my Grandma's brother-in-law which was pretty expensive, apparently. And we had roast duck again. But you gotta admit, it was delicious. Wednesday. 25.11.09. On Wednesday, it was basically the same thing. We went to Pavillion for lunch again. Today, we ate a fancy joint called "Dragon-I Signature". Then after that we went outside of Pavillion. We walked around the vicinity - where the adults had their foot massage and everything. After that, we went to Lot 10 where we went to Isetan. And I bought 2 shirts for CNY. After that, we headed to Chinatown where we had dinner (and we also walked around there). We went to this restaurant with A LOT of spelling errors in the menu. Examples: Roasted Duck with Sweet and Sour Source Sizzling Black Chicken with Osyter Source Steam Village Chicken wth Chinese Wine Bilter-gourd Vege Frogs Curry Dear Meat Chilli Dear Meat Sweet and Sout Squid Guineas Stout French Fries (Potato's Chips) Century Eggs Roll Special Rosted Pork Thursday. 26.11.09. We went to Pavillion's Crystal Jade for lunch on Thursday and went swimming at the hotel's swimming pool after that. We had quite a lot to eat, so we had to walk around before swimming. So we swam til 6 I think. After that we went to a place to eat. Quite far from the hotel. Friday. 27.11.09. Packed up to leave today. So the van picked us up to the airport. Of course, we had lunch before that. We went back to Crystal Jade because it's just so cheap (compared to Singapore). After that, a bunch of my family went to TANGS while I went to Giant at Sungei Wang Plaza with my dad and cousin. I bought a lotta tidbits there. So, after that, we went to have ice cream at Baskin Robbins and joined the rest at TANGS. We quickly left to pack all our stuff and took a van to the airport. It was quite some distance. We had McDonalds for dinner at 5+. I really wasn't hungry so I just had fries. We went up to the plane and it was really dark. Haha. The runway was so so dark. Couldn't really see. The pilots must be used to it or they have bionic eyes. I think I'm going with the latter. I finished reading my novel on the plane (yes, another Mary Higgins Clark book). Hey, she's a good author okay. So, we landed at 9+, I would suppose. Reached home at 9+ close to 10. AND NOW I'M BACK. AND LOOK AT HOW MUCH I MISSED. Adam Lambert's 'shocking' AMA performance. I think he's trying to be like Gaga. Don't have anything against him lah, but he's a bit of an... attention seeker. A bit. Oh well. Anyway, his single has fallen off the charts. And 'Bad Romance' is #2. I hope Jay-Z and Alicia Keys stop her from going to #1. Just a bit sick of her. Isn't she going to die out someday? ANNYYWAYY. So, PSLE results have come out. And the highest is 290. Mad nuts. Apparently, that student is from China. Don't look down on the Chinese, Luisa. They are much smarter than you think. Haha. My cousins all haven't surpassed my mark. Heh. Still the smartest in my family. =] But still rather pathetic. Tsk. Conclusion of Malaysia. I don't wanna live in Malaysia despite having quite the fun time last week. The traffic system is rather screwed. And it was terrible dashing across the street. TOTALLY. Tsk. Holiday? Sure. Live? Nahh. |
