Old people think we're stupid.
No, I'm not kidding you. Just now, I was at the food court, I went to order drinks for my cousins. The guy at the drinks counter was old. And he thought I was brainless or something. Bought two cans, he insisted I use a tray. Fine, but the worse thing was, he kept telling me what to do. Even helping me. HELLO? It's not like I've just had my hands sawed off or something, I can do that myself. And if it wasn't bad enough, the last word that came from his mouth was "zou". As in move. It's like he's telling me to scoot off. Rude.Hmmm. Isn't the music industry ironic? Sometimes it's no longer about the singing, and we kinda forget that sometimes. Let's say, people like Katharine McPhee. I'd say RCA wasn't being nice to her. "Over It" was a minor success, "Love Story" failed to ignite the charts, but they just refused to release another single. That's why her album didn't do that well. Look at Katy Perry. "Thinking Of You" also failed to chart, but her label had faith in her and released "Waking Up In Vegas" and people started buying her albums again. I mean, RCA was as cold-blooded as ever, to drop her. Excuse me, what??! They blame her for producing low album sales. You stupids didn't release another single, so people think "Over It" was the only single released from there. STUPIDS. Glad she's signed and "Unbroken" comes out January 5th. I hope it does well. She has a gorgeous voice, face (not too crazy about the blonde do), but still. She's one of the best singers out there. Yet we have people like Miley Cyrus who sings worse than a bulldog. Yet her albums sell like hot cakes. Isn't that ironic. The show and movie might have something to do with it, but it's singing we're talking about. And she doesn't possess a show-stopping voice, she doesn't move me with emotion in her performances, she doesn't get me up on my feet, she'll never get a standing ovation from me, she isn't drop dead gorgeous, so I just don't get it. Katharine McPhee completely trashes her in every aspect. Why is she so underrated? And why is Taylor Swift so overrated? Urgh. Teen posers.
