Hollywood Week, baby!
I loved Hollywood Week so far. The first solos, the one where they had to stand in a line and sing. This girl called Didi sang Katharine McPhee's Terrified and Katharine McPhee's pretty happy. Hahaha. Her label is too, and her album/song is seeing a sales bump. Good for her. She looks so much like Brooke White when she sings, and she's a really really pretty girl. And she is technically this season's new Katharine McPhee.This guy, Andrew Garcia, did an acoustic version of Paula Abdul's Straight Up. He did really well, but he reminds me too much of Danny Gokey. Anyone else?
Katie Stevens, one of the first they showed, and she still looks really good, and still sounds really good. But her first Hollywood Week day wasn't all that amazing. Time to let that diva shine, girl.
I'm pretty bummed Justin Williams got booted off. He looks good, he's unique, he's different, I don't get it.
I'm pretty sad Idol didn't show Ashley Rodriguez. I loved her from Boston.
Oh yes, the sisters that also got the boot. They didn't show what happened but I still enjoy their audition quite a lot.
And this new rocker who looks/sounds like P!nk is pretty disturbing yet cool at the same time.
So, enough of Idol stuff, let's get back to life. =) Err, so we have been avalanche-d with homework. CNY, TEACHERS. CNY. This is frankly, ridiculous. Do I look bionic to you? Does it look like I can pause time and finish all my homework when no time in the real world has actually passed? Trust me, I'd love to have that power.
